About Lodha Developers

Lodha Developers Limited develops and sells homes, from mid-income flats to luxury residences, mainly to individual buyers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune and Bengaluru.12 It also builds assets that earn rent, such as retail and office space, industrial and warehousing parks and a data centre park at Palava, for financial institutions, companies and wealthy individuals.12

The company runs its business as DevCo, which develops and sells homes; RentCo, which develops and manages rent-earning assets including powered-shell data centres (buildings supplied with power that operators fit out); and LandCo, set up to manage surplus land in the Extended Eastern Suburbs of the MMR.3 It carries out construction through in-house teams rather than outside general contractors, while the workers on its sites are employed by its contractors and their sub-contractors.42 It develops projects both on land it owns and through joint development agreements, under which a landowner provides the land and shares in the sales.4

It was incorporated in 1995.5 Managing Director Abhishek Lodha, a second-generation entrepreneur, has led the company for about 2 decades, and its holding company is Sambhavnath Infrabuild and Farms Private Limited.67
