Meetings for results

The results calendar lists them by day, with each company's last results.

Other business

Meetings whose agenda names neither results nor a corporate action.

Held in the last 30 days

Latest first. The outcome is the company's own announcement of what the board decided, where it is on record.

About board meetings

Upcoming board meetings is the list of dates on which listed companies' boards will meet, with the business on each agenda: results, a dividend, a bonus issue, a split, a buyback or fund raising. The dates come from the notices companies give the stock exchanges before they meet.

Board meeting agendas

The board of directors runs a company on behalf of its shareholders. Many corporate actions start at its meetings: quarterly results, a dividend, bonus shares, a split of a share's face value, a buyback or raising money. A meeting can carry several purposes, so a company can appear under more than one.

The list shows the agenda, not the result. The decision and its size are known only once the board has met.

Advance notice rules

Under SEBI's listing regulations (Regulation 29), a company must tell the exchanges the meeting date in advance when the agenda has financial results, a buyback, voluntary delisting, fund raising, a dividend, a bonus issue, or a change in the form or nature of its securities. Since May 2024 the notice for every one of these, results included, must come at least two working days ahead, not counting the day of notice or the meeting.

Results meetings

Most meetings are for results. A listed company must file quarterly results within 45 days of the quarter's end, and annual results within 60 days of the year's end, so meetings cluster in the weeks after each quarter closes.

How often boards meet

A listed company must hold at least four board meetings a year, no more than 120 days apart. Meetings whose agenda names neither results nor a corporate action are shown separately as other business.

How this page is built

The page opens with a count of meetings in the next 7 days by purpose, then lists upcoming meetings by date: soonest first, largest company first within each day. Meetings for results alone are counted in the opening line and listed on the results calendar. Meetings held in the last 30 days follow, with the company's own outcome announcement linked where on record. Companies must announce outcomes such as a dividend to the exchanges within 30 minutes of the meeting ending, or within three hours when it ends after market hours.

How many board meetings must a company hold in a year?

At least four, with no more than 120 days between two of them, under the Companies Act and SEBI's listing rules.

How much notice does a listed company give before a board meeting?

It must tell the exchange at least two working days before a meeting that will consider results, a dividend, a bonus issue, a buyback or a fund raising, not counting the day it tells and the day of the meeting.

When must a company hold its annual general meeting?

Within six months of its year's end, so by 30 September for a year ending in March, and no more than 15 months after the one before. Shareholders get at least 21 clear days' notice of it.
