About Inox Wind

Inox Wind Limited makes wind turbines and provides services for wind and solar power projects in India. Its offerings cover wind turbine manufacturing, renewable infrastructure development, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and operations and maintenance (O&M). Its customers include public sector undertakings such as NTPC, NLC, GAIL and SJVN.

The company manufactures 2 MW and 3 MW wind turbine generators, which are designed for the low wind speed conditions prevalent in India. Nacelles and hubs are made at Una in Himachal Pradesh and Bhuj in Gujarat, and a newly commissioned facility at Bavla near Ahmedabad also makes them. Blades and tubular towers are made at Rohika in Gujarat and Barwani in Madhya Pradesh. The company also operates a transformer manufacturing unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and owns and operates four cranes that are deployed at project sites.

Its listed subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Limited, provides operations and maintenance services across wind and solar assets. Another subsidiary, Inox Renewable Solutions Limited, provides turnkey as well as limited scope EPC services. Inox Wind merged Inox Wind Energy Limited into itself, which eliminated the holding company structure. The demerger of Inox Green's evacuation infrastructure business into Inox Renewable Solutions has been completed, with 1 August 2026 as the record date.

Inox Wind is part of the INOXGFL Group, a diversified Indian conglomerate with businesses across specialty chemicals and renewable energy. It was incorporated in 2009. Its registered office is at Village Basal in District Una, Himachal Pradesh.

Written from the annual report for the year to Mar 2026, filed 3 Sep 2026 and the investor presentation.

Where the return came from

Yearly rates to Mar 2026, per-share figures restated for splits and bonuses.

OverReturn a yearEarnings growthChange in P/EDividend yield
1 year−53.7%−10.9%−48.1%0.0%
3 years+47.9%––0.0%
5 years+34.0%––0.0%
Return is price growth plus the average dividend yield. Change in P/E is (1 + price growth) / (1 + earnings growth) - 1, so the parts compound rather than add. Earnings growth and the change in P/E are left empty where earnings per share at either end of the window was a loss or is not on record. Earnings growth over 1, 3 and 5 years is on profit divided by shares in issue at both ends: the earnings per share stated for one end does not match that year's profit and share count.
