About Meesho
Meesho Limited, through its subsidiaries, runs Meesho, an online marketplace where independent sellers list and sell products across a wide range of categories to consumers in India.12 It charges sellers no commission and consumers no platform fee, and earns from services it sells to sellers, from order fulfilment to advertising.3 Many of its buyers are in smaller cities and towns, shopping for affordable fashion, home and lifestyle products.2
It reports its results in Marketplace, the platform itself, and New Initiatives, which covers a low-cost local delivery network for daily essentials, digital financial services and AI services.4 Orders are delivered either through Valmo, its own technology platform that spreads shipments across many logistics partners, or directly by end-to-end logistics companies.5 Its wholly owned subsidiary Meesho Technologies Private Limited runs the marketplace, and its subsidiary Meesho Payments Private Limited arranges loans from non-banking finance companies to sellers and consumers on the platform.1
It was incorporated in 2015 and is based in Bengaluru.6 Under a scheme sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal in May 2025, its holding company Meesho Inc. was merged into it, and its e-commerce and grocery businesses were moved into subsidiaries.7 Its shares were listed on BSE and the National Stock Exchange on 10 Dec 2025.7
Its promoters are Vidit Aatrey, Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, and Sanjeev Kumar, Whole-Time Director and Chief Technology Officer; the promoter group held 16.57% of the shares on 31 Mar 2026.89
