About Star Health and Allied Insurance Company

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company is a standalone health insurer, one that sells health cover rather than the full range of general insurance, headquartered in Chennai.1 It offers health, personal accident and overseas travel insurance to individuals, corporate clients and small and medium enterprises in the Indian market and to Indian interests abroad.23 Alongside insurance, it offers telehealth consultations, second medical opinions and treatment at home for eligible customers.45

Utpal Hemendra Sheth is one of its promoters, classified as such after the shares held by the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala were transmitted.12
