About Gallantt Ispat
Gallantt Ispat Limited is an integrated steel maker serving India's construction and infrastructure needs. Its products are pellets, sponge iron, MS billets and TMT rebars, with finished steel as the principal external product. Rebars are sold under two brands, GALLANTT and GALLANTT ADVANCE.
The operations span pellets, sponge iron, steel melting, rolling mills and captive power. They run at two fully integrated units: one at Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur, in Uttar Pradesh, on 112 acres, and one at Samakhyali, Bhachau, in Kutch, Gujarat, on 116 acres. The Gorakhpur unit operates its own private railway siding for the bulk movement of iron ore and coal.
Sales run through a dealer-led network across Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, the company's two core markets. The network has 34 distributors, and sales offices are at Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
The Gallantt name dates to 1984. Commercial steelmaking began in 2005 with a 1.7 lakh tonne integrated plant and captive power at Kutch. A second integrated plant followed at Gorakhpur in 2009. Under a scheme of amalgamation sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi Bench, by order dated 20 May 2022, the businesses were consolidated and the company took its present name. It has a wholly owned subsidiary, Suryalaxmi Technologies Private Limited. The company's promoter family is actively involved in it. A promoter is the person or group that set up a company or controls it. Mr. Chandra Prakash Agrawal leads the company as Chairman and Managing Director.
Written from the annual report for the year to Mar 2026, filed 7 Sep 2026 and the investor presentation.
