About Intellect Design Arena
Intellect Design Arena Limited develops banking and financial software and sells it to banks, insurers, wealth managers, credit unions and capital market institutions. It also supports customers in implementing the systems and runs them in cloud environments. Its products are built on the eMACH.ai platform, and it also offers Purple Fabric, an open business impact AI platform. The company calls its approach AI-First Banking: intelligence is built into the banking platform itself rather than added on top.
The products are grouped into three areas: Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking, and Wealth, Capital Markets and Insurance. Wholesale Banking covers corporate core banking, liquidity management, payments, receivables and collections, trade finance and supply chain finance. Consumer Banking covers consumer core banking, Islamic banking, retail and commercial lending, consumer cards and collections management. The third area covers wealth management, brokerage, custody, fund accounting, transfer agency and insurance underwriting tools such as Xponent.
The company operates in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and India and South Asia. In the year to March 2026 it took over the digital banking business of Central 1, which widened its presence in Canada. Its registered office is in Chennai.
It was incorporated in 2011 and was formed by a demerger from Polaris Consulting & Services Limited. Its shares have been listed on the NSE and BSE since December 2014.
