About Abakkus Mutual Fund schemes
Abakkus Mutual Fund is the fund house sponsored by Abakkus Asset Manager Private Limited, with its schemes run by Abakkus Investment Managers Private Limited. SEBI registered the mutual fund on 29 Aug 2025, and its first schemes, a liquid fund and a flexi cap fund, began in Dec 2025.
Sponsor, trustee and asset management company
The sponsor, the company that set up the fund as a trust under a deed of 28 May 2025, was earlier Abakkus Asset Manager LLP. The fund's SEBI registration number is MF/088/25/14. Abakkus Trustee Private Limited is the trustee company: it holds the investors' assets and oversees the asset management company (AMC), which was incorporated on 24 Apr 2025 and runs the schemes day to day.
First schemes
Abakkus Liquid Fund was the first scheme to allot units, on 12 Dec 2025. Abakkus Flexi Cap Fund followed on 29 Dec 2025, Abakkus Small Cap Fund on 17 Mar 2026 and Abakkus Large & Mid Cap Fund on 4 Aug 2026. No scheme has a 3-year or 5-year record yet, so those return columns on the page stay empty until a fund is old enough.
Schemes Abakkus runs
The page lists its live funds under equity and debt. The equity funds are flexi cap, small cap and large & mid cap funds, and the debt fund is a liquid fund, which holds short-term debt maturing within 91 days. A flexi cap fund may invest across large, mid and small companies in any mix, while a small cap fund must keep at least 65% in small companies under SEBI's category rules.
Each row shows the NAV, which is the price of one unit, the fund's size and its cost, the yearly expense ratio charged to investors.
How the page works out figures
Returns are for each fund's lead plan, Direct where one exists. The 3-year and 5-year figures are annualised, meaning compounded per year. House AUM, the money managed, is the average over the quarter across its funds, and money held in its own funds of funds is counted once.
The page also shows each fund's managers with the funds they run, investor complaints received and left open at month end, how the house voted on resolutions at company meetings, and its key documents: the factsheet, the statement of additional information and the annual report.
