Suzlon Energy Limited had informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company by way of its resolutions dated 15th April, 2008, subject to approval of the shareholders, approved the proposal by the Company (a) to issue equity shares to the employees of the Company in terms of Employee Stock Option Plan-2007; (b) to issue equity shares to the employees of the Company's subsidiaries in terms of Employee Stock Option Plan-2007; (c) to issue equity shares to the employees of the Company in terms of Special Employee Stock Option Plan-2007; (d) to issue equity shares to the employees of the Company's subsidiaries in terms of Special Employee Stock Option Plan-2007; (e) to reappoint Mr. Tulsi R. Tanti as Managing Director; and (f) to reappoint Mr. Girish R. Tanti as Wholetime Director. The shareholders approval was sought by way of a postal ballot, the notice for which was sent to the shareholders on April 21, 2008. The Company has now informed the Exchange that the shareholders have approved the said resolutions.
