Suzlon Energy Limited had informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company by its resolution dated February 25, 2010, subject to approval of the shareholders, approved the proposal for revision of the conversion price of its US$ 300,000,000 zero coupon convertible bonds issued on June 11, 2007 and due June 2012 (ISIN: XS0302069249) and US$ 200,000,000 zero coupon convertible bonds issued on October 10, 2007 and due October 2012 (ISIN: XS0323163526) (collectively the 'FCCBs'). Consequently, the shareholders approval was sought by way of a postal ballot vide Notice dated February 27, 2010. The Company has now informed the Exchange that the shareholders have approved the said revision of the conversion price as a special resolution by way of postal ballot. A copy of the result of postal ballot as certified by the Chairman, based on the report of the Scrutinizer submitted to the Company shall be available on the NSE website (http://www.nseindia.com) under Corporates > Latest Announcements and on the Extranet Server (/Common/Corporate Announcements).
