The Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Limited (the Company / RIL), at its meeting held on September 10, 2007, has fixed October 12, 2007 as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of determining the Shareholders of the Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (IPCL/ the Transferor Company) who will be entitled to receive Equity Shares of the Company in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited with the Company (the Scheme).
