With reference to news item appearing in the financial newpaper dated August 26, 2008, " Russia-Georgia war rattles SEL Stock, the Company hereby clarifies that the said war has not put any effect on the operations of the Company, which are being carried out as per schedule. Rather the Company recently received an export order from Russian client to export appx. 1.1 million pieces of readymade garments i.e. innerwears for which announcement was made to the Exchanges earlier. The Company's operations are running as per schedule and the Company doesn't foresee any adverse impact on its operations/revenue by the said war".
