Board meeting of the Company held on July 30, 2008, the Board of Directors of the Company: (a) approved the plan to foray into new business "Fabric Spa" a complete rejuvenating solution for garments under its newly formed subsidiary Company called "Jyothy Fabricare Services Limited" (JFSL), with the objective to provide "World Class Laundry at affordable price". The initial investment for this new venture will be around Rs.40 crore. (b) approved the change of the Accounting Year 2008-09 to end on March 31 each year.
