Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has today i.e. on 4th August, 2009 formally sanctioned the scheme of amalgamation of Jaykaycem Ltd. (Wholly owned subsidiary) with the Company. As per the scheme, this becomes effective from 1st April, 2008. Jaykaycem Ltd. is implementing 3 Million Tonnes per Annum Geen Field Grey Cement Plant at Mudhol, Dist. Bagalkot, Karnataka state which is at final stage of implementation. The installed capacity of grey cement of J.K.Cement Ltd. with the merger will increase to 7.5 million tonnes per annum
