Exchange had sought a clarification from Hercules Hoists Limited with reference to announcement submitted by the Company vide letter dated October 2, 2014 stating that the Company has started commercial operations at a new manufacturing unit, situated at S. No. 255/2, Hinjewadi, Pune 411057 for assembling, testing, maintenance & repairing amongst other products, electrical & non electrical hoists, trolleys, cranes and other material handling equipment. The introduction of this unit will serve to partly de-risk the operations and also will contribute to growth of overall business of the Company.On the basis of the above, the following clarification was sought by the Exchange:Whether there is any substantial/material addition to the installed capacity of your Company? If yes, please provide details thereof.The Company has clarified that:"The Company have received necessary permissions from government departments / local authority. The Company have started commercial operation at Pune Unit. Operating revenue from this unit depends how the market reacts towards capital goods intake of material handling equipments business. Since, enquiry numbers are increasing, but translation of enquiries into hardcore orders still to be seen. In the present economic scenario & industry trend specifically for material handling segment we are expecting 5% to 7.5% revenue of total projected revenue for FY14-15 from new manufacturing unit situated at S No. 255/2, Hinjewadi, Pune 411057".
