Great Eastern Shipping Co. Limited has informed the Exchange that "The Ordinary Resolution under Section 293(1)(d) of the Companies Act, 1956 authorising the Board of Directors to borrow upto Rs.5000 crore has been approved by the Members of the Company with requisite majority by means of a Postal Ballot". Further the company has submitted to the Exchange a copy of the Results of Postal Ballot.
