Exchange had sought clarification from Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited with respect to announcement dated March 19, 2015 that "The CRISIL has reaffirmed the Rating at (a) "CRISIL A-" for the Long Term borrowings; and (b) "CRISIL A2+" for Short Term borrowings of the Company. CRISIL has revised its rating outlook on the Long Term borrowings to "Negative" from "Stable . The Company, has vide email dated March 20, 2015 has clarified as below: 1. The rating has not been downgraded. It has been reaffirmed at CRISIL A- for long-term borrowings and at CRISIL A2+ for short-term borrowings. However, the rating outlook on the long-term borrowings has been revised to Negative from Stable . 2. The reasons mentioned for revision in outlook in the Rating Rationale of CRISIL are: The outlook revision reflects CRISIL s belief that the recovery in Company s operating performance will take longer than earlier expected, leading to sustained pressure on the Company s business risk profile. Furthermore, the Company s return on capital employed remained negative as a result of weak earnings, not commensurate with large investments made by the Company between 2010-11 and 2012-13. Nevertheless, Company s liquidity and financial flexibility remain adequate, driven by financial support from the Company s parent, Tata AutoComp Systems Limited (TACO; CRISIL AA-/Stable/CRISIL A1+ ). The ratings continue to reflect the strong business and financial support that the Company receives from Tata Motors Limited and TACO. The ratings also factor in Company s moderate financial risk profile, marked by adequate capital structure and liquidity. These rating strengths are partially offset by Company s limited product, geographical, and customer diversification, and the low value-added nature of its products.20 Mar · Legal
