Notice dated February 23, 2010 convening the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") was issued to all shareholders of the Company, along with a copy of the Annual Accounts for the year ended December 31, 2009 convening the AGM on April 27, 2010. It has appeared in the news papers that political parties have called a "Bandh" on the date of the AGM. Management of GD Birla Sabhaghar, the venue for the AGM, have clarified that their staff may not be able to attend office on that day and hence they may have to keep the premises closed. It is therefore proposed to cancel the holding of the AGM on April 27, 2010 and postpone it to another date tentatively in June after giving a fresh notice to all shareholders. Further the Book closure period of April 20, 2010 to April 27, 2010 will remain the same based on which the shareholders entitled to dividend to be declared at the postponed AGM will be determined.19 Apr · Board meeting

At the Board meeting held on July 29, 2008, the Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Dr Luigi Giulio Gramizzi, Director of the Company. Dr Gramizzi was the Executive President of Vesivius Group. The Board also appointed Mr Yves Nokerman as a Director of the Company in the casual vacancy caused by the resignation of Dr Gramizzi.
