Mr. S. Ramadorai, the present Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company will retire from his Executive and Board position on October 05, 2009 on reaching the retirement age of 65 years as per the Company's policy. The Board of Directors of the Company at its Meeting held on September 04, 2009 has decided to appoint Mr. S. Ramadorai on the Board as an Additional Director and designated him as Vice Chairman in non-executive capacity with effect from October 06, 2009. The Board of Directors has also confirmed the appointment of Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, the present Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company with effect from October 06, 2009.
