Following: a) Sundram Fasteners Limited has acquired 100% equity share capital of Upasana Engineering Limited (UFL), a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary at cost from Sundaram Fasteners Investments Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company; b) Consequent to acquisition of the equity shares, UEL has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company with effect from 12th December, 2007; c) UEL manufacture spokes and nipples, tools and other components at its two units located in Chennai and Hosur, both in the State of Tamil Nadu.

The investment would be around EURO 30,000. 2) PUTG will hold the land and building currently being utilized by Peiner Umformtechnik GmbH, Peine, Germany, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
