Exchange has sought clarification from Raymond Limited with respect to recent news item captioned "Raymond Looks to Sell 20% in Apparel biz". In this regard, Exchange have advised the Company to provide clarification/confirmation on the news item in detail including the following: a) Whether such negotiations were taking place and b) Whether you/company are aware of any information that has not been announced to the Exchanges which could explain the aforesaid movement in the trading. The response from the company is awaited.

Exchange has sought clarification from Raymond Limited with respect to an announcement submitted to the Exchange dated October 26, 2015 that the workmen of the Company's Chhindwara Textile Plant have gone on strike due to unreasonable and unlawful bonus demands.On basis of above the company is required to provide further information on the following :a) The impact of the strike in some quantifiable terms like loss of production, loss of man-days, etcb) Steps taken for restoration of normalcy.c) Information as and when the strike being called off along with quantitative information on actual impact of such strike.The reply from the Company is awaited.
