Mr. S.R. Shivshankar, President, has resigned from the Company. Mr. K.R. Murali aged 45 years, has since joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer. He is a Mechanical Engineer from University of Madras. He has 23 years of rich experience in automotive industry - both in OEM and component sectors. He spent first 10 years of his career in Maruti Udyog Ltd in various functions including Technology Transfer, Product Planning and Product Development. In August 1995, he joined Tata Johnson Controls, a 50/50 JV between Tata Auto Component Systems and Johnson Controls, USA and spent 11 years in that Company. He held various functional responsibilities therein. Mr. Murali's last assignment, (between Nov 2006 and Feb 2009) prior to joining Kalyani Forge was an Executive Director in Chennai based Sanmar Engineering Corporation. He will report to Managing Director and Chairman.
