Jayant Agro Organics Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on January 30, 2008 have decided to redeem 60,00,000 7% Redeemable Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 5/- each, at par, on April 08, 2008, which were allotted on April 09, 2003 to be redeemed within 5 years from the date of allotment, without surrendering the Share Certificates from the Preference Shareholders, at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Company. The Record date for the purpose of redemption of the above shares and also for payment of dividend for the period from April 1, 2007 to April 8, 2008, is fixed on April 04, 2008.
