Hon'ble High Courts of Delhi and Bombay have sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation amongst ALSTOM Projects India Limited, ALSTOM Holdings (India) Limited (a group company) and their respective shareholders on February 23, 2012 and March 31, 2012, respectively, under Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956.The certified copy of the Scheme of Amalgamation issued by the Hon'ble High Courts of Delhi and Bombay has been duly filed and now registered with the Registrar of Companies at Delhi and Mumbai respectively.

ALSTOM Projects India Limited ("APIL") has been awarded contracts worth Rs. 365 crores by Hindalco Industries Ltd. for Supply & installation of four gas treatment plants in India. Under the terms of said contracts, APIL will design, engineer, supply, install and commission two gas treatment plants each at the Mahan and Aditya aluminium smelters located in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Orissa. The plants, due onstream in early 2012 will capture, filter & recycle corrosive gas produced by the smelters, notably hydrogen fluoride, improving air quality and thus conforming to the environmental requirements
