Exchange has sought clarification from Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited with respect to announcement dated 11-Nov-2016, stating that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 10, 2016 has approved the establishment of 105,000 TPA (i.e. 315 MT per day) of Chloromethanes Plant at Dahej with an estimated project cost of Rs.683 Crores. The expected project completion date is 24 months from zero date. The Company has at present Chloromethanes plant at Vadodara Complex with a capacity of 37950 TPA. The project cost shall be funded from internal accruals / surplus generated from internal operations and need based gap, if any, shall be met from External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) or Rupee Term Loans.On basis of above the Company is required to clarify following:1.
