Greaves Cotton Limited had informed the Exchange that the Company had sought the consent of the shareholders by Postal Ballots to re-issue 10,137 Equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the key executives of the Company at a price of Rs.336/- per share. The Company has now informed the Exchange that: "the above Resolution has been passed with overwhelming majority. The summary of the results of Postal Ballot as declared by Mr. P. Sachdev, Managing Director & CEO, today at the Registered Office of the Company, is as follows: (1) Particulars: Postal Ballot Forms in favour of Resolution, No. of Shares: 2,47,83,817, % of total paid up capital: 50.75, % of total valid votes: 99.95; (2) Particulars: Postal Ballot Forms against the Resolution, No. of Shares: 12,506, % of total paid up capital: 0.03, % of total valid votes: 0.05; Total No. of Shares: 2,47,96,323".
