Exchange has sought clarification from Castrol India Limited with respect to announcement dated 16-Dec-2016, regarding "Castrol India Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors at their Meeting held on December 16, 2016 have approved the appointment of Ms. Chandana Dhar as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from January 12, 2017, upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. This information is being furnished to you under Regulations 6 (1) and 30 (6) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
