The company has now informed the Exchange that the Board met on May 28, 2009, and among other things, considered and approved the draft Scheme of Amalgamation of Basav Chem Limited (100% subsidiary Company) , with the company in terms of Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956, subject to requisite approvals. The Company proposes to file petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka for the proposed Amalgamation after 30 days.
