The change in the fund's benchmark index over the same days as the manager's return, worked out the same way, with the dividends of the index's companies added back. Benchmark over the same days in the glossary | Difference from the benchmark. The fund's return in the manager's time less its benchmark's over the same days, in percentage points. Difference from the benchmark in the glossary | Portfolio changed after the handover.
