News Verification : The media had reports that "Unitech may raise Rs 200 cr for ongoing projects.". The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Unitech Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The Company and its subsidiaries, on an ongoing basis, raise funds from various banks and other financial institutions to meet its financing needs for development of projects and for various corporate purposes. With a view to augment the company's finances for meeting its working capital requirements to accelerate the execution of its ongoing projects, company is in discussions with some financiers."9 Jun · News Verification
News Verification : The media had reports that "Unitech loses case against buyers of Gurgaon project at National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).". The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Unitech Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "that the Company has not received the said order. We will examine the order once it is received and decide further course of action keeping in view the best interest of all our stakeholders. News Verification : The media had reports that "Unitech, JP Associates shares plunge on loan default talk.". The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Unitech Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "Rumours are being spread by certain segments of the market to profit from trading pertaining to Unitech defaulting on repayments to certain lenders, which are false and misleading. On the contrary Unitech has brought down its debt and other liabilities including telecom related liabilities significantly during the last financial year. In fact all the company's telecom related debt has been repaid. Unitech has been focusing on scaling up its construction activities and expects to increase deliveries considerably during the current year.
