Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 and sub clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, vide notification no. F. No. 4/5/(2)2015-BO.I(pt)/C.No.76820 dated August 09, 2016 has appointed Shri Raj Kamal Verma, General Manager, Bank of India as Executive Director of Union Bank of India from the date of his taking over charge of the post and upto February 28, 2019 i.e. the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.Shri Raj Kamal Verma has taken over charge of the post of Executive Director of Union Bank of India on August 09, 2016.
