Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has informed the Exchange that certain entities acting in concert with the Promoters and forming part of the Promoter Group of the Company have pledged 2,09,24,750 equity shares of Rs.10 each of the Company, aggregating 30.59% of the total shareholding of Promoter & Promoter Group and representing 8.09% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the Company. The monies borrowed have been invested in the purchase of Company's shares through secondary market by the entities through creeping acquisition.
