Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today i.e., November 28, 2011 has approved grant of 20,45,598 Stock Options (convertible into equivalent number of equity shares of face value of Rs.10/- each of the Company) to the eligible employees and Directors of the Company and its subsidiaries, pursuant to the, "Essar Shipping Employees Stock Option Scheme - 2011", approved by the members at their Annual General Meeting held on September 09, 2011. These Stock Options have been granted at an Exercise price of Rs.22.30 per equity share of face value Rs.10/- each (i.e. the closing price of the equity shares of the Company on November 25, 2011 at the National Stock Exchange Limited, which had the highest quantity of trading in Company's Share).
