"The Board vide a resolution dated today , 25th September 2009 has, subject to receipt of all the required regulatory approvals, approved the sale of its asset management business. The divestment will include sale of the entire shareholding in its 100% subsidiaries M/s. DBS Cholamandalam Asset Management Limited (DCAM) and M/s. DBS Cholamandalam Trustees Limited (DCTL) as well as the transfer of DBS Chola Mutual Fund (DCMF) and the schemes under the Fund. Further to the Board approval, the Company has today signed a MOU for sale with M/s. L & T Finance Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. for a total sale consideration of Rs. 45 crores, subject to closing audit adjustments". Further the Company has submitted to the Exchange a copy of the press release in this regard.
