Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited had informed the Exchange that Shri V S Raghavan, CEO and 'Manager' of the Company passed away on December 12, 2011 on account of a major ailment. The Company has now informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on March 27, 2012, has, subject to approval by the shareholders, appointed Shri Sanjiv Bajaj as Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 years with effect from April 01, 2012 to March 31, 2017 and also fixed his remuneration, based on the recommendation made by the Remuneration & Nomination Committee. Shri Sanjiv Bajaj will be the CEO for the purposes of Listing Agreement.
