About Unifi Mutual Fund schemes
Unifi Mutual Fund is the fund house sponsored by Unifi Capital Private Limited and run by its wholly owned asset management company, Unifi Asset Management Private Limited. Registered with SEBI on 13 Nov 2024, it opened its first scheme in Mar 2025 and runs a flexi cap equity fund, a dynamic asset allocation fund and a liquid fund.
Sponsor, trustee and AMC
Unifi Capital Private Limited, the sponsor, is the company that set up the fund as a trust. Incorporated on 2 Jan 2001, it ran portfolio management services and alternative investment funds before it entered mutual funds. Unifi Mutual Fund Trustee Private Limited is the trustee company: it holds the schemes' assets for investors and oversees the asset management company (AMC), the firm that makes the investment decisions.
Unifi Asset Management Private Limited, the AMC, was incorporated on 11 Jan 2024 and is wholly owned by the sponsor. The trust deed is dated 5 Mar 2024, and SEBI registered the fund on 13 Nov 2024 under number MF/082/24/08.
Schemes it runs
The Unifi Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund was the first scheme, allotted on 13 Mar 2025. The Unifi Flexi Cap Fund followed on 6 Jun 2025 and the Unifi Liquid Fund on 11 Jun 2025. A flexi cap fund may hold companies of any size, a dynamic asset allocation fund shifts its money between shares and debt, and a liquid fund holds debt and money market securities that mature within 91 days.
Because the funds are new, the page shows no 3 year or 5 year returns yet. Those columns fill in once a fund has that much history.
How size, returns and cost are shown
Each row shows the fund's NAV, the price of one unit, and returns for the plan the fund's own page leads with, Direct where there is one. Returns over three and five years are stated per year, compounded.
The cost column is the expense ratio, the yearly fee taken from the fund's assets. The assets managed figure is the average over the latest quarter, added up across the house's funds; money one of its funds holds in another of its own funds is counted once.
Fund managers, complaints and votes
The page lists each fund manager with the number of funds they run and the money in them, as of the latest month. Money in a fund run jointly is counted under each of its managers, so the manager totals can exceed the house's assets.
It also shows the latest month's investor complaints (received, resolved, and open on the month's last day) and the quarter's votes at company meetings: the meetings, the resolutions voted on, and those voted against or abstained from, each resolution counted once.
