About Trust Mutual Fund schemes

Trust Mutual Fund is a SEBI-registered fund house sponsored by Trust Investment Advisors Private Limited and run by Trust Asset Management Private Limited. Its first scheme, a liquid fund, allotted units on 23 Apr 2021, and it now runs equity, hybrid and debt schemes.

Sponsor, trustee and asset management company

Trust Investment Advisors Private Limited is the sponsor, the company that sets up the fund as a trust. Trust AMC Trustee Private Limited is the trustee company: it holds the fund's assets for unit holders and oversees the asset management company (AMC), the firm that makes the investment decisions.

Trust Asset Management Private Limited, incorporated on 11 Dec 2017, is that AMC. The mutual fund was constituted as a trust on 23 May 2018 and registered with SEBI on 7 Oct 2019 under number MF/075/19/01.

Schemes it runs

The first scheme to open was the Liquid Fund, allotted on 23 Apr 2021. Short duration (Aug 2021), overnight (Jan 2022), corporate bond (Jan 2023) and money market (Aug 2023) funds followed, plus a fixed maturity plan that has since matured.

Equity began with the Flexi Cap Fund on 26 Apr 2024, then the Small Cap Fund (4 Nov 2024), the Multi Cap Fund (21 Jul 2025), the Mid Cap Fund (20 Mar 2026) and, most recently, the Large & Midcap Fund. The Arbitrage Fund, the one hybrid scheme, was allotted on 28 Aug 2025. Arbitrage means buying a share in the cash market and selling its future at the same time to lock in the price gap.

How the equity and debt funds are run

The house describes its equity funds as following two approaches, Terminal Value Investing and Growth at Reasonable Valuations (GARV), which looks for growing companies at valuations the house considers reasonable. For four of its debt funds, the fund manager invests mainly in line with a model portfolio built with CRISIL, within pre-set limits.

What this page shows

The page lists the house's live schemes in three groups: equity, hybrid and debt. Each row gives the NAV, the price of one unit, and returns over 1, 3 and 5 years for the scheme's lead plan, which is Direct where the scheme has one. Three and five year returns are annualised, the yearly rate that compounds to the total gain. Size and cost, the yearly expense ratio, sit beside them.

Assets managed is the average over the latest quarter, added across the funds, with money one fund holds in another of the house's funds counted once. The manager table counts a fund with two managers in full for each, so its totals add up to more than the house's assets. It also shows investor complaints, open ones being those unresolved on the month's last day, and the house's votes at company meetings, counted once per resolution.
