Sponsor, trustee and AMC
Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Limited is the sponsor, the company that set up the fund as a trust. PPFAS Trustee Company Private Limited is the trustee, which holds investors' assets and oversees the fund. PPFAS Asset Management Private Limited is the asset management company (AMC) that makes the investment decisions. The AMC was incorporated on 8 Aug 2011. The fund was constituted as a trust on 13 Apr 2012 and registered with SEBI on 17 Oct 2012 under code MF/069/12.
Schemes it runs
The page groups the live funds under Equity, Hybrid and Debt. Equity has the Flexi Cap, ELSS Tax Saver and Large Cap funds. Hybrid has the Conservative Hybrid, Arbitrage and Dynamic Asset Allocation funds. Debt has the Liquid fund. Each category name links to its own page. The house runs no index funds or ETFs.
A flexi cap fund may invest in companies of any size. The Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund can also hold overseas securities.
How returns and size are shown
Each row shows the NAV (net asset value, the price of one unit), returns over 1, 3 and 5 years for the plan the fund's own page leads with, usually Direct, and the fund's size and cost. A 3 or 5 year return is a yearly compounded rate. A dash means the fund is too new for that period.
The assets managed figure is the average over the latest quarter, added across the house's funds. Units of one of the house's funds held by another of its funds are counted once.
Fund managers
The manager table lists each person who runs one of the house's funds now, how many funds they run, the money in those funds, and the earliest date the fund house files for them on any of its funds. Most of its funds are run by several managers together, and each fund counts in full for every one of them.
Complaints and voting
Complaints for the latest month appear as received, resolved and still open on the last day, with any carried from earlier months. It also shows how many company meetings and resolutions the house's funds voted on in the latest quarter, and how many were voted against or abstained. A resolution several of its funds voted on is counted once.
