About Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund
Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund is the mutual fund of Bajaj Finserv Limited, a financial services group. Its schemes are run by Bajaj Asset Management Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Limited, which began launching funds in 2023.
Sponsor and asset management company
Bajaj Finserv Limited is the sponsor, the company that set up the fund as a trust under a deed of 3 Feb 2022. Bajaj Asset Management Limited, incorporated on 18 Oct 2021, makes the investment decisions for the schemes; it was formerly called Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. SEBI registered Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund on 1 Mar 2023 under number MF/078/23/04.
Bajaj Mutual Fund Trustee Limited, formerly Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund Trustee Limited, is the trustee company: separate from the asset management company, it holds the fund's assets on behalf of unit holders and supervises how the schemes are run.
Launch
The fund house's first two schemes, the Liquid Fund and the Overnight Fund, were offered to investors from 29 Jun to 4 Jul 2023. No scheme is five years old yet, so the 5-year return column stays empty.
Schemes it runs
The house runs equity funds (flexi cap, small cap, large and mid cap, large cap, multi cap, consumption, banking and financial services, healthcare and a tax-saving ELSS), hybrid funds (multi asset allocation, arbitrage, balanced advantage and equity savings), debt funds from overnight and liquid to gilt, index funds on the Nifty 50 and Nifty Next 50, and exchange traded funds. New fund offers appear on the page with their opening and closing dates.
What this page shows
Each live scheme is listed with its NAV (net asset value, the price of one unit), returns over 1, 3 and 5 years, size and cost. Returns use the Direct plan where a scheme has one, and 3 and 5 year figures are annualised, meaning the yearly rate that compounds to the full gain.
Assets managed is the quarterly average of the money in the house's schemes, added together. Holdings that a fund of funds keeps in the house's other schemes are counted once. The manager table adds up the latest month's assets of every scheme a manager runs, and a scheme with two managers counts in full for each.
The page also lists investor complaints received and resolved in the latest month, and how the house voted on company resolutions in the latest quarter. A resolution counts as one item however many of its schemes voted on it.
