About Angel One Mutual Fund schemes

Angel One Mutual Fund is a SEBI-registered fund house run by Angel One Asset Management Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the broker Angel One Limited. It runs only passive schemes: index funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and funds of funds.

Registration and set-up

Angel One Limited is the sponsor, the company that set up the fund as a trust on 16 Oct 2023. SEBI registered Angel One Mutual Fund on 25 Nov 2024 under number MF/083/24/09. Angel One Asset Management Company Limited, incorporated on 4 May 2023, manages it. The fund's trustee company is Angel One Trustee Limited. A trustee company holds the fund's assets on behalf of unit holders and oversees the asset management company (AMC), the firm that runs the schemes.

Schemes it runs

The first launches were the Nifty Total Market Index Fund and the Nifty Total Market ETF, offered to investors from 10 Feb to 21 Feb 2025; that index holds every company in the Nifty 500 and the Nifty Microcap 250, from large caps to micro caps. A Nifty Total Market Momentum Quality 50 index fund and ETF followed, with their offer open from 3 Nov to 17 Nov 2025. The fund house also runs Nifty 50 funds, a Nifty 1D Rate Liquid ETF, a Gold ETF, a Silver ETF and gold and silver funds of funds. This page lists every live scheme with its type, NAV, one-year return, size and cost.

NAV is the price of one unit. Cost is the scheme's expense ratio, the yearly fee as a percentage of the money in the scheme.

Passive investing

A passive scheme holds the securities of an index, or the metal itself through an ETF, instead of choosing stocks. An index fund is bought and sold with the fund house at the day's NAV. An ETF trades on the exchange through a broker. A fund of funds holds units of another scheme, here the gold and silver ETFs of the same house.

Fund managers

Kewal Shah and Mehul Dama manage the schemes. This page shows each manager's funds and the money in them: the latest month's assets of every fund they run, summed, with a fund that has two managers counted in full for each.

Figures on this page

Assets managed is the average money in the house's funds over the quarter, summed across funds, with money that its own funds of funds hold in its other funds counted once. Returns are for the plan each scheme's page leads with, Direct where one exists, and returns over three and five years are annualised, meaning compounded per year. The page also shows investor complaints received, resolved and open at month end, and how the house voted at company meetings.
